It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of LAAACVFA Past President (1995-1996) Pat Sohn. Pat has held other offices in the LAAACVFA along with serving as committee chair to many committees and she was inducted into the LAAACVFA Hall of Fame in 2002.
From the Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company:
It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our beloved friend and lifetime member, Pat Sohn, who passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her family. Pat was not only a dedicated member of the Company for the last 39 years and Past President of the Auxiliary, but also a confidant, friend and mentor to us all. Her service was truly a family affair, working alongside her husband Michael, children Nicole and Bryan, brothers Andy and Milt, as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family to include the closest of lifelong friends. Pat’s commitment to service extended beyond Earleigh Heights having also served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Firefighters Association, as well as 40 years of devotion to her career at the National Security Agency. Pat’s contribution to Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company cannot be overstated as she has been consistent face and beacon of leadership at almost every event over the years. She was an irreplaceable component of our Company and will be severely missed. Our thoughts, deepest sympathies, and heartfelt prayers are with her family in this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to: Earleigh Heights VFC Auxiliary P.O. Box 547 Severna Park, MD 21146 or Hospice of the Chesapeake
Arrangements will be posted when they are made. Please keep Michael, Brian, Nichole, and the family in prayer. |
