Charles K. Chaney
Date of Birth: November 3, 1964
Date of Death: October 27, 2024

Charles Keith Chaney, know by those who loved him as “Chuck”, passed away peacefully watching his favorite team, The Baltimore Ravens on October, 27, 2024. He fought valiantly for years against a lengthy illness and left this world surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born on November 3, 1964, to Charles and Delois Chaney of Deale, Maryland. He graduated from Southern High School in 1982, and soon after became a volunteer firefighter at the Deale Volunteer Fire Department. It was here that his lifelong passion of service as a firefighter, EMT and eventual paramedic began. After 35 years of faithfully serving his community, he retired in 2020 as an EMS Lieutenant from the Kent County, Maryland Office of Emergency Services where he had been employed since 2005.

Chuck is survived by his belove wife of 33 years, Kim, his eldest son, Sean (Susan), his daughter, Kendall and younger son, CJ. He was a proud grandfather to Kayla (John), Jacob, Eric, Michael and soon to be a great grandfather; a fact that he was absolutely thrilled about. He is also survived by his siblings Joyce, Lorie, Christie, Billy and Corkey, his nieces and nephews and countless friends, all of whom loved him dearly.
