Larry Donald Poteet, 68, of Stevensville, MD. Passed away on March 25, 2023 at Easton Memorial Hospital. Larry was born on September 12, 1954 to Jerome and Alma Poteet of Ferndale, MD.

After high school, Larry pursued his career as a professional firefighter for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department where he worked over 24 years. He also worked 20 plus years as an EMT for the Maryland Jocky Club. Larry was a member of the Anne Arundel Retired Firefighters  Association. Larry enjoyed going on cruises. In his younger days he was an avid softball player. He played on the Anne Arundel County Professional Firefighters Local 1563 softball team for many years.

Larry was preceeded in death by his parents Jerome and Alma Poteet, and his beloved wife of 40 years Linda Poteet. he is survivied by his loving daughter Lauren Pippin and husband Joe and grandchildren Sadie Jo and Clayton. Also survived by his 3 brothers, Jerome, William and tommy.
