Local Fireman Succumbs From Injuries

Carl M. Stinchcomb, 36, of 138 Olen Drive, Glen Burnie, died March 28 at Maryland General Hospital of injuries sustained on March 13 after fighting a fire.
The Ferndale Fire Department had answered a call to put out a brush fire on Olen Drive on Sunday, March 13. After extinguishing the fire, the truck had proceeded back to its station some 15 feet when Carl Stinchcomb, a fireman, fell off and struck his head on the roadway.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Singleton’s of Glen Burnie.
Mr. Stinchcomb is survived by his wife, Genevieve, and three sons.
